Physical Impairment
Physical impairments can vary greatly. They are defined as physical limitations for movement, coordination, or to perform physical activities, and is exhibited by difficulties in one or more of the following areas: physical and motor tasks; independent movement; performing basic life functions. These shall include neuromotor impairments, orthopedic or musculoskeletal disorders, and other conditions (i.e. fractures) if such impairment adversely affects a student's educational performance. (Hallahan, 2012).
